What is Two Truths & a Lie?

Two Truths and a Lie is the icebreaker everyone knows. You share three statements about yourself, and everyone else has to work out which one is made up.

On Drinkup.buzz, everybody writes their three statements on their own phone at the same time, so nobody sits around waiting. Then the room goes through each player and guesses which statement is the lie. Guess wrong, and you drink.

How to play Two Truths & a Lie online

1. One player opens drinkup.buzz, taps Create Game and shares the 4-digit room code (or the QR code).
2. Everyone joins on their own phone. No app, no sign-up — just pick a username.
3. Everyone writes two true things about themselves, and one lie.
4. One player's three statements appear on every screen.
5. Tap the one you think is the lie.
6. Wrong guesses drink. Then it's the next player's turn.

• The best lies are boring. The best truths sound unbelievable.
• Use things the room doesn't already know: old jobs, strange talents, childhood disasters.
• Keep your statements short. Long ones give the lie away.
