What is Hive Mind?

Hive Mind is about thinking like the group. Every player gets one question about themselves, and everyone in the room — including the player it's about — answers it on a slider, in secret.

Then the answers are revealed against the room's average. Whoever is furthest from it drinks 2 to 6 sips: the further off, the more. Whoever is closest gets to hand out 2 sips to someone else.

How to play Hive Mind online

1. One player opens drinkup.buzz, taps Create Game and shares the 4-digit room code (or the QR code).
2. Everyone joins on their own phone. No app, no sign-up — just pick a username.
3. A question about one player appears on every phone.
4. Everyone, including that player, answers on a slider in secret.
5. The answers are revealed next to the room's average.
6. Furthest off drinks; closest hands out sips. Then the next player is in the hot seat.

• You're not guessing the true answer — you're guessing what everyone else will guess.
• Being the subject doesn't help as much as you'd think.

How Drinkup.buzz works

Drinkup.buzz is a free multiplayer party game that runs in your phone's browser. One person creates a room, the rest of the group joins with the code, and every phone plays in sync.
