What is Drinking Wheel?
The Drinking Wheel is a slot machine for your party. Two reels spin at once: the left one decides who drinks, and the right one decides what they drink.
The left reel can land on a single player, the boys, the girls, everyone — or no one at all. The right reel can land on a shot, a 3, 5 or 10 second chug, or finishing your drink. Every phone shows exactly the same spin, so nobody can argue with the result.
How to play Drinking Wheel online
- One player opens drinkup.buzz, taps Create Game and shares the 4-digit room code (or the QR code).
- Everyone joins on their own phone. No app, no sign-up — just pick a username.
- The host taps Spin.
- Both reels roll on every phone. The left one stops first.
- Whoever the left reel picked does whatever the right reel picked.
Drinking rules
- Left reel — who: one player, boys, girls, everyone, or no one.
- Right reel — what: a shot, a 3, 5 or 10 second chug, or finish your drink.
- “Finish your drink” is one attempt. No extra punishment if you can't.
Tips
- This is one of the heavier games in the rotation, so pace yourselves.
- A “shot” can be anything you like. Juice counts.
How Drinkup.buzz works
Drinkup.buzz is a free multiplayer party game that runs in your phone's browser. One person creates a room, the rest of the group joins with the code, and every phone plays in sync. Between rounds a reel spins to pick the next game, so Drinking Wheel comes up alongside 17 other games — from trivia and reflex battles to Never Have I Ever. It's best played in groups of 4–10.
